I am trying to deal with parentchild relationship in database through Hibernate. I have tried the code given in the reference doc.But it seems it is not working.

Parent p=(Parent) session.load(Parent.class, pid);
Child c = new Child();
p.getChildren().add(c);
session.save(c);
session.flush();
