Perhaps there are some people on this list that are interested in learning
about spring/acegi/hibernate.

I have a project called jestate.

It uses spring,struts,hibernate and the acegi security framework to create
a real estate management system.

It will have a SWT rich client which will communicate using httpinvoker based
remoting.

We are looking for more developers so if you would like to be involved in
an open-source project and are looking to develop these kind of skills
check out the project.
