Hibernate 2.1.6

MySQL 4.0.20

Is there a way to limit caching to only cache objects that are instances of a specific joined-sublass?

It should be really easy to implement a cacheable="false" attribute for subclass mappings. Why not just produce a patch? I would accept it into the core.
