Hibernate version:2.1
DB: Oracle 9i R2

Please excuse my rather stupid question, but what are practical differences in using proxy fetching vs. lazy fetching from the point of developer and application? I haven't found clear answer/comparison in either docs or forum.

Thank you in advance,

Rimmer
