Hi guys,

Does the hibernate team know a way of getting a free oracle license for interoperability testing with an open source project ?

I'm Tom Baeyens from jbpm.org. We use hibernate in our open source workflow engine. Our local oracle sales consultants couldn't give us any license for free which allowed us to do interoperability testing. Seems strange since it would be good for oracle as wel. We wouldn't mind limitations as long as we can test interop.

Regards,
Tom Baeyens

Did you try going to http://otn.oracle.com? You should be able to register and download a 'test' copy of the database.

There are some restrictions on "benchmarking", AFAIR, but testing/development should be OK with the download license.
