Hi,

I am tasked with exporting config information stored in the datbase into an XML file and reading back the same information back to the database.

I have decided to use Hibernate as the DB schema is already fixed and I can reverse engineer by using middlegen hibernate plugin.

This will help me pull information from DB to POJO domain objects. Which brings me to the question of how do i map this to a required XML format without introducing another framework or another set of bean/mapping files.

I have used Castor before to do these kind of things, and also looked at XmlBeans and some other XML Binding frameworks.

I am wondering if any one dealt with similar issues. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rajesh
