Hi

I have an application which requires fine grained authorisation at a method level and I like to use hibernate as the persistency layer.

Will it be possible to have AspectJ guarding getter and setter methods of classes which are persisted using hibernate? I'm especially concerned whether this works fine if I want to use lazy initializing proxies for this classes.

I'm also interested to hear about other ideas of how to cope with the authorisation requirement with hibernate in a none J2EE environment.

Best Regards
Ernst
