I could not find this information anywhere in the site. I apologize if it is already posted somewhere.

What is the minimum version of Xerces required for Hibernate 2.x to recognize the DTDs included in hibernate2.jar so that it will work with the normal hbm.xml DOCTYPE declaration but no internet connection?

Update: Xerces 2.4.0 works. But it is probably not the earliest. If you successfully used an older one without an Internet connection, or know which version Xerces is the oldest that would allow this to work, please post it.
