Is this a hard stop at exactly 75k, or at approximately 75k.

What happens at this point? Is there a checked exception? A runtime exception? Is there a message that tells you what has gone wrong, or does the program simply hang/stop/exit?

What database are you using? How much memory is your JVM consuming? Can the hardware handle this many records?
