I've searched through the docs, but I can't figure out how to create a many-to-many list where the index is stored in the association table. I can store the index in the table that contains list elements, but this does not work so well for many-to-many lists. Does anyone have an example they could share which would show me how to create many-to-many lists?

Hmm, no replies. Is this something that just can't be done with Hibernate?

I don't get you. The index of a many-to-many mapping is stored in the association table.

I guess that is why I'm in the "hibernate beginners" section. Thanks for the clarification!

I wonder why I couldn't make this work, perhaps I made a type in my xdoclet tags I seem to do that alot, I mystype one of the tag names, and then its as if the column does not exist. Perhaps I should look for an xdoclet plugin for eclipse that validates the tag names and attributes.
