Hi

I need to evaluate Hibernate for use.

Can I have a Java class that maps some attributes to one table and other attributes to another table?

If so, how?

Thanks
Matthew

You can not do "real" one-class to multiple-table mapping yet.

By saying "yet" does this mean that Hibernate is planning on supporting this feature?

Thanks,
Sean

Yes, it is planned in Hibernate3, see http://www.hibernate.org/200.html
