Hi,
the hibernate reference says that outer join fetchs data in a single sql select.
What hibernate outer joing does for accomplishing this is a outer join comparisson in the tables??? When you use outer join, i assume that the selects recordset returned can get pretty big... so what are really the benefits of doing this???

Thanks,
ltcmelo

Well you have to weight off between result set size and more queries. It all depends on your application which is better.
