 Post subject: Can I config DBCP in WEB-INF/web.xml file ?

I have hibernate running under Tomcat 4, with
DBCP Pool setup in server.xml ( inside context tag ).

I wonder if I can move DBCP config statements from Tomcat's
server.xml config file to my application's WEB-INF/web.xml file

Yes you can, just configure Hibernate to use a JNDI datasource.
