I tried asking this on the Xdoclet users list, but there were no takers... maybe someone here knows the answer?

It seems like there is no xdoclet tag to generate a <parent> element for a <component>. Can anyone confirm this?

If not, does anyone know enough about the "merge" feature in Xdoclet to be able to tell me if it can be used to achieve this... and if so, how do I do it?
