I have a class with a ordered list of children. I've mapped this as a list in the mapping descriptor. Everything works as I'd expect it to except that if I check what happens when a child is removed from the list I find that it first sets the parent and pos of every child in the list to null and then turns around and sets the parent and pos on each child to the proper value. This can some times cause problems if there are unique constraints on the table.

Is this the expected behaviour. I've read a variety of postings that discuss management of collections but they all use a set in the example. [/url]
