I want to update 80.000 data in the database, and I decided do it with JDBC.

Please, someone can tell me if my code is correct? Are there any problems doing it?

After all, should I close Connection or Hibernate Session?

Thanks.
Session session = getHibernateSession();
Connection conn = session.connection();

// do update

conn.close() or session.close() ?

Test is the best solution, but you shouldn't have any pb (use batch udaptes)
session.close() (this is in the reference guide)
