Hi,
We have an application in .Net that we are migrating to Java with the help of Hibernate.

Following the way that relationships between two objects are stored.

Defect -> (links to ) Task

Assume defect has two types of links to tasks:
Defect.MandatoryTasks and Defect.OtherTasks.

Hibernate uses two relationship tables to maintain the same
"Defect_MandatoryTask" and "Defect_OtherTask" where as in our current
model we store the same in a single table "Defect_Task" along with the relationship name that helps us identify the base set.

We would like to maintain the same model for Java as well and is there any way that I could implement a UserCollectionType that would manage and load the right relationship from the relationship table as per the relationship name? Is there an available sample for the same?

Thanks in advance.
Bharath K.
