Hibernate maps both ways? (from objects to ER and from ER to Objects)

There is no such thing as a "mapping" from a data modelling approach to an object-oriented idiom. You can't map from Apples to Cucumbers, please refine your question and check your terminology.

from ER to object --> the objects are loaded from a db
from object to object --> if the objects is created or updated, then the db is updated to.

What I meant is if Hibernate can get a DB structure (just the skeleton) and generate the java classes (Java classes that gives the persistence service). And what about the other way? Can it take a set o Business classes (entity classes) and generate the DB skeleton?
Thanks
