 Post subject: why Hibernate doesn't support extyernal join ?

I don't understand why Hibernate doesn't support the external joins like this

Code:
Parent table
String idParent (primary key)
Date dateParent (a parent column)
....

Child Table
String idChild (primary key)
String idParnet (external key)
Date dateChild (a child column)
..


I want a sql like this...

Code:
select * from parent,child where idParent=idChild AND dateParent =dateChild
a



(dateParent =dateChild for me is a external join)



but I don't know where I can set the "AND dateParent =dateChild" clause.
I tried insert it into one-to-many where clause, without success.

And this was not supported from the begining, because it often sounds like a wrong DB schema.
