Required libraries

I found this post but nobody answered on December.

It's nice to have a file like libs-readme.txt in lib\.
AFAIK xalan.jar xerces.jar xml-apis.jar are not required if JDK 1.4 is used.
Can someone confirm this?

I have one problem with xalan-2.4.0.jar (my Tomcat application doesn't start if it is in the classpath) and I use JDK 1.4.2.

Can I leave it out?, no problems?

You can leave it out without problems AFAIK

It is only used by XMLDataBinder feature, I think.
