several days ago, a friend introduced Hibernate to me, then I began to do a project which realized data persistence. As I know, serveral kinds of ORM now exist such as JDO and OJB and so on. So I want to ask
1. what's the best benefit of Hibernate?
2. How about Hibernate's stability?
3. Is there anyone who uses Hibernate in his project?

Thanks very much.

1. Do you mean Hibernate compared to others?
Build on top of *real* needs,
We consider Hibernate to be a commercial equivalent (like Toplink).

2. It is stable (my favorite answer), JBoss Inc has a professional support for Hibernate

3. Most people using it cannot talk about that since it's in corp usage.

forum.hibernate.org is high traffic
JBoss is reimplementing it's CMP engine on top of Hibernate
