 Post subject: How to use Cache in Hibernate?

Hi everyone:

I have write several web application using hibernate. They work well. But now I want to prompt it's performance.So I want to use hibernate Cache. In hibernate2.1, there are OSCache, SwarmCache, JBoss TreeCache.... .But how to use them? There is too small example in the web. Could someone give me a good hibernate example using Cache?

Unless you have clustering requirements and limited experience with this stuff start with the standard ehcache. It is the default cache and you need to place appropiate cache tags in the mapping documents. Also read the section of the manual http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/reference/html/performance.html#performance-s3
