 Post subject: Mapping via non-primary unique key

I have a table containing two unique keys - one a primary key (a numeric ID) and one a unique key string which is a name. This table is involved in a one-to-many relationship using it's primary key, but it is also in a many-to-many relationship using this unique key. Is there any way I can map this relationship using the other key?
