Does Hibernate ship with a sample application that one can take a look at so that one can learn this beast.

I appreciate any help on this.

There is a very simple demo in the eg directory of the distribution.

There is a more complete demo app that will be released in a week or two.

So far the documentation I've read and the online articles/tutorials have not helped as much as I had hoped.

What exactly is it you miss?

Well I'm still at the very early stages.

Once a working application comes out, I think I'll be able to move along more rapidly.
