Or is there a way to receive an email when there is a new post in the Administraion Forum?

I know there is an option to receive an email for ALL forums, but that would be a bit too
noisy, I think...

All announcments will also be sent to the developer mailinglist, so just subscribe to it. It's not high traffic.

The dev mailing list isn't too heavy unless users ask for assistance instead of the forum.
