I need to marshall/unmarshall my Hibernate objects back and forth to XML. I've experimented with a few tools, and would like to use Castor mostly because of its ease of use. My problem is that I need to get Castor to ignore uninitialized collections. Currently, I get a lazy init exception if I give Castor an object with uninitialized collections. Because of the size of the collections, I don't want to disable lazy loading. Does anyone have any hints on how to deal with this?
