How can I create a hbm.xml file automatically?

I use Hibernator with Eclipse. But it only produces a hbm.xml file which is far from being a complete mapping.

Someone wrote that I could write hbm.xml files manually and create Java files from it. But I want to do it the opposite way.

Is there any tool support or something which makes it easier?

Is there an example by which I could learn to do it with XDoclet?

Its because I don't know much about Hibernate and don't know anything about XDoclet.

An example would help me if it would be one which shows how to use XDoclet in order to automatically generate hbm.xml files.

Someone (Christian? David?) knows what we did with the JAOO workshop stuff.... looking over that would help.

Thank you.

Concerning the Ecplise plugin Hibernator, it seems to work.

I forgot to generate Getters and Setters. Thats why it didn't create a complete mapping file.

Now I will try that Plugin first and maybe use XDoclet at a later time if I am not satisfied with the Plugin.

There are also lots of other example uses of XDoclet in the external Related Projects area of the Wiki.
