Hi there,

I am currently using JSR-57 long-term persistence for JavaBeans to store my object model, and I would like to switch to Hibernate.

Can the mapping file and schema generation tools both be used programmatically at runtime in Hibernate?

The manual says the mapping file generation tool uses reflection to find properties on JavaBeans. Does the mapping file generation tool use the Introspector and BeanInfo to discover properties like JSR-57 or is it similar?

thanks,
ryan
