I have created a persistent enum class, but when I try to select just that attribute in a query I get

net.sf.hibernate.QueryException: could not resolve property type

In looking at the hibernate code it is looking for something that implements queryable, but that interface looks very complex to implement for something as simple as a persisten enum.

I'm using Hibernate 2.0.2. Has anyone else tried this?

Thanks for your help!
Jenica

I missed an important step. I had commented that field out of the mapping!

Thanks...
