I have a one to one association between classes candidate and flag.

I would like to load the flag class only when necessary. I am aware of specificying the proxy but have run into the error about session closed.

What is the best way to do this?

Also in some instances when I load the flag class it may not exist and I get an error throwobjectnotfound.

What is the prescribed method to do this.

Thanks in advance
