 Post subject: RefCursor support using ojdbc8.jar

I am trying to use load ojdbc8.jar and taking advantage of Ref Cursor support from oracle DB. I see Hibernate silently failing from "public static boolean supportsRefCursors(DatabaseMetaData meta) {" as following message ..
Class org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.cursor.internal.StandardRefCursorSupport can not access a member of class oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDatabaseMetaData with modifiers "public"

Anybody tried it ?

It might be an issue, so you should write a replicating test case and open a Jira issue.
