Hi,

Up to hibernate 3.6.X i notice Apache commons collections(ACC) library packaged as a required library.
May I know why hibernate stops shipping commons collections library from 4.X ??
Any one can help me here?

Every open source project tries to use the least amount of dependencies to avoid tying the framework to 3rd party software.
You can include the external dependency in your project in case you need it.
