 Post subject: Conditional One to Many relationship

I have a one to many relationship between two tables, A and B with an join column on ID. Table B has a soft delete flag column e.g. delete_flag = 'N' or delete_flag = 'Y'. I would like to restrict the join to records in table B with the delete_flag = 'N'. How can this be done.
