I am looking at an old hbm.xml file for an app I must maintain. I see in the mapping file...

<hibernate-mapping package="abc.xyz">
<class name="my.Classname" table="table_name@xyz" >
...
</class>
</hibernate-mapping>

What is going on with the value for the table attribute when an @ is in there? Is xyz the db proxy to use or something?

(whenever i search for @ or "at sign" it seems like all the results have to do with the @ associated with annotations so sorry if this is an easy one.)

TIA
