Hi,

I want to delete more than 1 lakh records.

So i use ScrollableResults.

below my code:

ScrollableResults scrollable = session.createQuery(queryWithCon).scroll(ScrollMode.FORWARD_ONLY);
while(scrollable.next()){
insertCount++;
if (insertCount % batchSize == 0) {
session.flush();session.clear();
}
session.delete(scrollable.get(0));
}
scrollable.close();

Always i am getting OutOfMemoryError.
This is wrong way... Plz take me on correct way otherwise how to slove this OutOfMemoryError error

That code shouldn't leak memory.

Try using JVisualVM on your program; JVisualVM gives you the size of allocated memory for each class, so it's relatively easy to pinpoint whether it's the JDBC driver, Hibernate, or your application that holds onto the data.
