 Post subject: Custom SQL and Cast

How do you use the cast function in Hibernate.
SELECT cast(max(expirationdate) as timestamp) from abc; -- this works in SQL developer
When we try to create a native SQL like the one above and run using hibernate, it give a alias exception!

Need help on this urgently!
