 Post subject: Dialect support For Oracle 12c

Hi,

I'm hasan and i have small query regarding dialect. As we are going to use Oracle 12c database and i just want to confirm whether Hibernate dialect (i.e org.hibernate.dialect.OracleDialect) supports Oracle 12c. When we used it (i.e Hibernate 3.0 ) we couldn't able to connect. And i also would like to know whether latest version of Hibernate supports Oracle 12c.

Oracle12cDialect was added in Hibernate 5 prior to that the Oracle10 dialect was the latest.
