 Post subject: How can I build hibernte from source?

I have download the hibernate from GIT.

I did the command: "gradle assemble" (I tried with gradle build) but it looks like the code is with problem:
error: cannot find symbol
implements CustomSqlElement

I tried to build using some old commits but a new error always pops up.

What do I need to do to build it without a problem?
