 Post subject: Batch insert with GenerationType.Identity

I want to batch-insert a large number of rows. I don't care about having the id field filled in after the insert. Unfortunately, all the documentation and StackOverflow pages indicate that batching is disabled if the entity id is GenerationType.Identity. Is there any way to get batch inserts with database-generated ids?
