 Post subject: Getting many "Show tables" queries

Hey everybody,

I had a look at the mySQL stats of my server after load testing my app. I made 3 million calls to the database and got following:
84% of them have been "Show table"
10% Selects
...

So, does Hibernate make those "Show table" queries? And if yes, what for? Anything not set up correctly?
