The customized sorting can be done on collections and SortedSet using hibernate.

Is there is a way to apply customized sorting on a primitive data type columns

For Ex:-

Class Employee{
int id;
String fname;
String lname;
String age;
String department;
}

in the above class if department field is specified in sorting then customized sorting has to be used , and for other fields default sorting has to be used.
