Will annotations allow you to map to the same column twice? I have a column with employee ids, the first 4 charters will always be the location. So sometimes I may want to search by location. Can one be declared as the real column name and the other with an alias?

@Column(name = "employee_id")
private String employee_location;

@Column(name = "employee_id")
private String employeeid

public int getemployee_location () {
location = Right(getemployee_location,4)
return location;
}
