Regarding Hibernate query cache

Hi all,

I am trying to understand the following:

1. Is second level cache needs to be enabled for an application to use query cache?
2. How can i check whether my query comes from cache?

Yes u need to enable second level cache for caching your query. To check first enable second level cache in cfg and obtain hibernate statistics from session interface.
