Hi Sanne,
excellent reply, you got me there. :)
I guess your suggestion to contribute to the Hibernate project is just fair and I will try to carve out some time in my busy days to work on this. :)
I'll keep you posted and reply to this topic once I have something to show.

Hi Uli, thank you that would be great! Really I'm not trying to avoid the work, but if you can try it out in your systems that will make it much better for sure than have me trying it.
Of course if you need any help with the sources or build, just ask we'll help you. Besides this forum, if you need help or advice on coding (as opposing to using) Hibernate you can use the hibernate-dev mailing list or IRC channels:

I think you om with the fact that we should make sure to always publish OSGI bundles, but while I agree we should all agree to endorse the initiative. The consumers are always in need of good things and will be ok for it.
Myself for example have not used the code OSGI for once.
Hi, I'm not sure I understood that. By "endorsing the initiative" are you suggesting you want to help or are you worried it will break other users? Rest assured that we won't allow quality to go backwards or compatibility to be broken with current usage, and we have plenty of tests supporting this goal. Of course there always is a risk in any change, so feel free to follow this on the mailing list as well and verify the patches, that would be helpfull as well.
