I am using tomcat and can get a datasource from it by using the '<non-jta-data-source>xxxx</non-jta-data-source>' element.

I would like to do the same with our java applications that run outside of an app container.
Is there an easy way to do this? I was hoping that I could specify a file similar to apache's context.xml file for the resource.

Thanks,

ldl
