I'm testing my application with the hibernate code that I use.
Overall I'm very happy with the results, excitability and sociability.

However, I have one one issue: If the machine is disconnect from the network and the application starts it takes hibernate about 70-80 seconds to identify that a connection can't be establish.
Other type of software on the same machine can recognize that in seconds.

Is there a way in hibernate to speed up the recognition that the network is off?

Thanks
Yigal
