In my code I get a NoClassDefFoundError error when I'm executing new Configuration().

I used to have hibernate3 and with this it works. Currently I'm trying to upgrade to hibernate 4 and now I get this error.

I need some way of establishing a session without the XML file, so I provide the user and password manually. Since this tool doesn't know the databases in advance, I can't configure it in the XML file.

So how can this be done with Hibernate 4 now?
