Hi,

according to this post viewtopic.php?p=2396711 Hibernate orders columns to "to ensure deterministic ordering across clusters".

Is there any other reason hibernate would depend on a certain order of columns? Background is: We want to add columns to existing tables and this is much easier if we can simply append a column (alter table x add y ...).

Thanks for any help

Tobias
