 Post subject: Hibernate JPA and JRE 1.5 (Only upto 3.6.9 works)

Hi,

I have a project that uses Hibernate JPA (in spring), and finally got it to work under tomcat with JRE 1.5

I am using Maven for dependency management, and I can use hibernate-entity-manager upto 3.6.9 (along with hibernate-annotations etc)

If I change the version to 4, I get Bad Class version number exceptions.

Is it not possible to use the latest Hibernate / JPA wit JRE 1.5 ?

(Edit :- I had it working upto 3.5.6 earlier, but it now works upto 3.6.9)
