What are the plans for including a Microsoft Access Dialect and support in Hibernate 3? I believe this was supported in previous versions but is no longer supported.

If the answer is "there are no plans for adding support for Microsoft Access", does anyone have an approach for the following use case?

My current project is replacing a legacy VB6 application that uses Microsoft Access as the DBMS. I need to migrate the users existing data to HSQL. I have found a couple of Microsoft Access Dialect(s) in various blogs but unable to get these to work.

Since this is a one time / initial conversion, the cost of the commercial license offered by HXTT is not practical.

Thanks for your thoughts!
